2020 Coronavirus (COVID-19) Precautions & Emergency Response
At Pensacola Cooks Kitchen, the health and safety of our customers, kitchen incubators/rental partners, and employees are always our top priorities. We continue to monitor the news related to the coronavirus and are committed to taking every precaution as directed by th Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), especially the CDC Environmental Cleaning and Disinfection Recommendations, both in the Kitchen and the PCK Cooking Classroom.
If we are directed to suspend operations, including classes, we will notify registered customers immediately by email and/or telephone.
While our regular operating policy for cooking classes is to limit “hands-on” class size to a maximum of 12 students for instructional purposes, we do understand that some may want to take extra precautions and limit unnecessary social contact.
Therefore, through April 30, 2020, we are suspending our normal cancellation policy and will allow cancellation at any time before the start of a class. We would greatly appreciate as much advance notice as possible so that we can plan accordingly and not purchase food that will not be used.
Likewise, we would ask that all customers exercise guarded caution. If you are sick, feel you might be getting sick, or suspect you have been exposed to the coronavirus or influenza, please cancel your class.
In the meantime, we have increased the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing, especially in high traffic areas such as door handles, entryways, counter-tops, cooking equipment, utensils, and surfaces, along with our restroom.
We’re confident that all of us in our community will do the next right thing so we can all return to our regular routines.
